
I frequently overheard people telling others to “just accept and let go”. But usually when some heard about this comment, they would use different tones to reply “yah! I got accept what but I still felt wronged……”. From years of observations through my therapy experiences, I noticed that if you do have total acceptance of the nasty events that have happened to you, you would feel inner peace and accept wholeheartedly. However, if you say you “accepted” but you feel miserable inside, then it is not true acceptance but resigning to fate. In this case, there would be no inner peace and emotions are being repressed, which could result in more inner wounds.
Therefore, I sincerely invite you to embark on your healing journey by exploring and examining your life through therapy. 常常听到人家说“啊!那你就接受嘛……放下嘛” 。听到这番话的人有时候会用不同的语气回说 “我有啊!我接受了啊!但我还是觉得委屈”。其实在我多年辅导与心理治疗经验中的观察,如果真正接受的话,您的心是能感受到自我接纳的,慢慢会感受到内心平静。如果嘴上说“接受”但心理难受,那或许不是真的接受,而是感到“无奈的认命”。这样的话心是很难平静下来的因为情绪往往是压抑的。会得内伤哦!
